Guillermo Rojas’ farm has been in his family for over fifty years. Guillermo is a third generation coffee producer, and his farm, La Falda, was an inheritance from his parents which he began to work 10 years ago and is proud to continue the family tradition as a coffee producer.
This particular lot from Guillermo recently finished 13th overall in the Acevedo Cup — a regional coffee quality competition put on by our importing partners, Collaborative Coffee Source, and our exporting partners in Colombia, Fairfield Trading Co. This competition is an opportunity for the producers to display their hard work, find recognition and achieve higher prices for their coffees while connecting with roasters and importers interested in their coffee, as well as a celebration of the fantastic work of the ambitious and skilled coffee producers in the Acevedo microregion.
