Proyecto Cabañas // Santa Barbara, Honduras
SUPPORT ASHEVILLE COFFEE COMMUNITY
The recent devastation caused by Hurricane Helene has left much of Asheville isolated and struggling. Roads have been washed out, leaving communities cut off from basic services, and widespread flooding has displaced families and businesses alike. Many baristas and coffee workers in the area have found themselves without work due to the closure of cafes and the broader impact on the local economy. We want to support these dedicated individuals by donating all proceeds from this coffee release to help those displaced by this disaster. Together, we hope to help the people who bring together community and bring joy in our daily cup get back on their feet. Join us in supporting Asheville's coffee community as they rebuild from this catastrophic event.
Proceeds from this coffee will go to directly support the Baristas and Coffee Community of Asheville.
Every bag purchased makes a direct impact.

Part of our importing partner’s ‘RISE’ series, Proyecto Cabañas showcases coffee from smallholder farmers within Santa Bárbara. Located near Los Planes in the Cabañas district, these farms benefit from high altitudes and rich volcanic soils. Hand-picked cherries are pulped, fermented, and sun-dried on raised African beds, with constant turning to ensure even drying, which can be difficult due to the proximity of these farms to the lush jungles of the Santa Barbara mountain range.
This ‘Rise Series’ is an initiative aimed at helping smallholder farmers improve their coffee quality and earn fairer prices. Partnering with exporters like San Vicente, CCS provides technical support and education to promising farmers. The program not only helps farmers refine their practices but also builds long-term, sustainable relationships that enable economic growth and continuous quality improvement.
